My name is Andiswa charmaine Matolengwe & i was born in 26 December 1992.everything about my life has been ups & downs yet i enjoyed as i had all my family by my side & we are a lovely big family of 8 with 4 girls & 1 man & the newest member of the family my nephew whom i love daily.
I was born in saldannah but raised here in cape town because my parents moved from there to here. I had a very exciting & happy childhood as i grew up where there was warmth love & security & God was made to be the first thing in our lives. I started school in 1998 in Sigcawu primary & 2006 i started high school in Mandela high & there the only activity i participated in was singing i loved it so much that i sang solo & i did everything in my power to do good in my studies & i did that all teachers noticed.Came the most difficult time of my life when i was doing Grade 11 my mother had the second accident that ruined me that i could not focus on my school work anymore so i failed but did not give up went back & i did pass with my families support i did it & 2010 i was doing Grade 12 passed with good grades & that same year got my first kiss from a guy i was friends with so after that we dated but eventualy broke up.
In 2011 started doing nursing but found out its not what i want its what my mother wanted so i dropped out that same year worked for 3 months then just stayed home .i just went to the choir that i love Khayelitsha Choral singers & go to church until i came here because i felt i needed change but i know that i love helping people so whatever i do will involve people especially children
last but not least i thank God for being there all my life did not face much difficulties its all because of him & i know i am still going forward in 4 years to come i will be a graduate in UWC that is my plan and i will achieve it.
