My Life Journey

I am Camenita Lizelle Lottering ,an am 24years old i was born in a town called Ceres but we only stayed their till i was three months old ,after that we moved to a place called Eersteriver this is the place that i grew up in this is where my comfort zone is an i love this place so much.we're 5 people in our house an am the oldest an i live with both my parents an my sister an younger brother we are a close family and i totally love them to the max i must admit.

I started my primary school at Beverley park primary school ,this is where my foundation was layed i finish my primary school in 2002 and started my high school at Eersteriver high school in 2003 but its now called the school of arts .This is where i had to start to make my own choices in life an choose where will i be fitted in,but i have to admit that high school life wasn't always that easy for me because of all the different types of choices that was starring me in the face. Me,myself and i didn't always made the right or must i say the perfect choices but that is what made me who i am today i can truelly say i learned from my mistakes and difficulties.I ended my high school journey in 2007 that is the year i matriculated and passed proud to say it.I also studied from 2008 to 2009 at college of Cape Town i studied tourism their didn't really enjoyed it that much but am not a quitter that's why am proud to say i finished it.in 2011 i then did a course home based nursing an i have to say that i loved working with old people it just a good feeling that you doing something to someone who cannot do it for them self  anymore .By me it isn't about the money but making people happy in their last days .I can proudly say for myself is that i always try my best and am always the hard worker .

I am currently at chrysalis academy from 07september to 30november my journey here is almost finished here here it wasn't always easy and many times i wanted to give up but because they taught us to believe in yourself  and always give the best and never to give up on life an yourself ,that's the reason what kept my going an going.

I see myself far in life and sucesfull,and to make my dreams a realty i will make it because i believe in myself

The river of life of Chriscenchia Hendricks..

As a teenager of  20 years old life is a challenge.I live in Knysna and I ended up in Chrysalis Academy (Cape Town) for a good reason.

I was the 16th July 1993. Like I said I live in Knysna an at this moment im in Cape Town.Im the last born of 7 other and I dont mind becuse they all love me.I went Rheenendal Primary School in  2000 an my high school starterd in 2009 where I went Knysna Secondary School,I matriculated in 2011.While I was still on school the last thing on my mind was my future.There was alot of pressure on me to go and study furher but I did not listen.2012 was my Gap year which I'm not proud of becuse I could've gone to study instead I was sitting at home doing nothing.Im still living with my folks an I enjoy every moment with them.I lost my best boy friend 2years ago in a car accident an its still fresh in my mind.2012 was a horrible year for me, at that moment my best friend fall pregnant and I wasn't allow to be that close with her anymore,you guys whose parents are stricked knows whats like when that happens.But I made peace with that and YES we are still friends just not that close anymore.My brother moved to Cape Town and he was my all and by that I mean my ALL.like I said 2012 was a horrible year.As 2013 begin things starterd to fall in to place my life staterd to make sense again,I did apply for at the Chrysalis Academy where I was accepted and im still enjoying every moment of it.I learnt lots of stuff that are very usefull and I cant wait to go an tell others when I go back into my community what have learn.2014 going to further my career an start working as I gain more expience on how to handle the real world.

   Introduction
   My name is Maronique Jacobs.I was born on the 2 December 1994 in Knysna Hospital.I
   stay in Knysna,Rheenendal and I'm 19 years old.


   Body
   I am raised by my awesome and wonderful parents and we are a family of 8,two
   brothers and three sisters from which I am the last born.We live together 
   in Knysna Rheenendal.I attended school at Rheenedal Primary in 2001-2009.Knysna
   Secondary 2010-2012.In grade 10 I wanted to drop out of school,because of wrong 
   choices that I've made.I was smiling outside but dying inside.In 2011 I started to
   do wrong things and my life changes.Bad attitude against my parents,brothers and 
   sisters.The same year my mom told me about my birth and what happened,but by the 
   grace of God we are saved and in that moment I began to appreciate what I have in 
   my life and started a new life.
   I met new friends that motivates and support me and that same year I give my heart
   to Jesus and everything changes and good things happened in my life.I apply at

The river of life of Broniel Swanepoel

As a young lady of 21years old,I live my life to the fullest and grab every opportunity that comes my way.

I was  born on the 1st of september 1992 in Worcester Hospital.I live in Worcester for all my life now with my parents and brother who is 19years old.I went to primary school at Victoria Park,I finish grade 7 and than I went to high school at Breerivier,where I finish matric in 2010.High school for me was very nice I really enjoy every moment,sometimes school was beter than being at home.After finishing school I Went straight to go and work at a carwash earning R100.00 a day that went go for about 2months than I was offered a learnership for youth development for 1year,so time went by,I graduate and after that I was at home for about 3months,than I started to work with my father at APL cartons and I enjoyed everyday working with my father,we are very close and he always pushes me to do my best in everything and to take every opportunity I get.He also the one who told me about this Chrysalis Academy,so I apply not knowing that I will actually be accepted.I decided to take the oppportunity and to make it work for me,because they told me that we will do lots of fitness stuff and I dont like running and stuff but here I am still alive and fit.Chrysalis for is a great opportunity to make huge changes in your life but all depends on YOU.I enjoy eveything about Chrysalis from the dissiplines they thought us to the drillling part.I am looking forward to my graduation on the 30th of November and going home a change person.

I know there will always be ups and downs in your life,but I will just stand strong and know that with God by my side I can do everything.

My name is Aneke Baadjies, I'm 21 years old lives in Ashton  and is a female . I am a coloured and I am proud to be one. 

I was born on 1 November 1992 in Montagu hospital.I have 1 sister and i am the eldest, i live with my mother and grandmother. I went to pre school in 1997 at Heidiland in 1998 i went to H. venter primary school and finished my grade 7 in 2005. In 2006 I went to Ashton secondary high and that is  where i started smoking, drinking and parting a lot. In 2009 I had my first love.I finished my matric in 2010 but did not past.In 2011 I wrote it over but did not receive my results, that's when i decided to take a gap year. In my gap year i felt pregnant with my boyfriend of 2 years and on 11 September my baby daughter was born.In November i started working at a place called Foodbasket where i had supportive friends.In July month, I heard about chrysalis academy and on the 7 September I decided to give it a chance to make a change in my live and I am not regret being here today.

In 2014 I want to start working at big business to unleash my potential and make a success of my life and give my daughter what  I never had.
